Overview

BAMEA-O16B is an ionizable lipid featuring disulfide bonds, designed for incorporation into lipid nanoparticles (LNPs) for efficient delivery of Cas9 mRNA and sgRNA. The disulfide linkages provide redox-sensitive degradability, enabling RNA release in the intracellular reductive environment. When formulated into LNPs, BAMEAO16B facilitates enhanced cellular uptake, endosomal escape, and intracellular bioavailability, supporting efficient genome editing. This lipid is ideally suited for gene editing research applications.
