DMNPE-4 AM-caged-calcium

Overview

DMNPE-4 AM-caged-calcium, photolabile analogues of EGTA, is an extremely effective Ca 2+ selective cage, with a K d for Ca 2+ of 48 nM and 19 nM at pH 7.2 and pH 7.4, respectively. DMNPE-4 AM-caged-calcium has a lower affinity for Ca 2+ ( K d =~2 nM) after photolysis.
