Etoposide

Overview

Etoposide (VP-16; VP-16-213) is an anti-cancer chemotherapy agent. Etoposide inhibits topoisomerase II , thus stopping DNA replication. Etoposide induces cell cycle arrest, apoptosis and autophagy .
