Overview

Anamorelin (RC-1291) hydrochloride is an orally active Ghrelin receptor agonist with an EC 50 of 0.74 nM. Anamorelin hydrochloride can promote appetite, increase body weight, and stimulate the secretion of growth hormone and insulin-like growth factor-1. Anamorelin hydrochloride can be used in the research of anorexia and cancer cachexia.
