L-Afegostat (5-epi-Isofagomine) is a glycosidase inhibitor. L-Afegostat is an iminosugar that can be used for the synthesis of carbohydrates. L-Afegostat shows enzyme inhibition to β-Glucosidase with an K i of 30 μM.
