Ys-II

Overview

Ys-II (Compound 1) is a spirostanol glycoside that can be isolated from the stem of Yucca elephantipe . Ys-II has antifungal activity against the growth of Candida albicans and Cryptococcus neoformans ( IC 50 : 5 and 6 μg/mL respectively).
