DXR-IN-2

Overview

DXR-IN-2 is a 1-deoxy-D-xylulose-5-phosphate reductoisomerase (DXR) inhibitor and an antimalarial agent ( IC 50 : 0.1062 μM for Plasmodium falciparum DXR and 0.369 μM for Plasmodium falciparum ). DXR-IN-2 inhibits Plasmodium falciparum growth by suppressing the methyl erythritol phosphate (MEP) pathway via DXR.
