Anpirtoline (D-16949) is a centrally acting 5-HT 1B receptor agonist, with K i s of 28 nM (5-HT 1B ), 150 nM (5-HT 1A ) and 1.49 μM (5-HT2). Anpirtoline has serotonergic, antinociceptive, antidepressant-like effects.
