Overview

BaENR-IN-1 (Compound 5) is an inhibitor of Enoyl-Acyl Carrier Protein Reductase (ENR) ( IC 50 = 7.7 μM). BaENR-IN-1 blocks the synthesis of fatty acids essential for bacterial growth by inhibiting the bacterial enzyme ENR . BaENR-IN-1 shows activity against bacteria .
