Overview

DMHBO+ is a cationic chromophore that binds to the Chili aptamer with a K d of 12 nM. The Chili-DMHBO+ complex is an ideal fluorescence donor for FRET to the rhodamine dye Atto 590, suitable for imaging RNA in cells. Ex/Em=456/592 nm.
