Perfluoroheptanesulfonic acid

Overview

Perfluoroheptanesulfonic acid (1-Perfluoroheptanesulfonic acid; Perfluoroheptanesulphonic acid) is a perfluoroalkyl substance (PFAS). PFHpS can induce malformations in zebrafish larvae (EC 50 =168.1 μM). It has also been found in landfill leachate, and fetal exposure to PFHpS can lead to reduced birth weight.
