Nimesulide

Overview

Nimesulide is a selective COX-2 inhibitor, with IC 50 s of 70 nM-70 μM in a time-dependent manner, but it shows no effect on COX-1 (IC 50 >100 μM). Nimesulide has potent anti-inflammatory, analgesic and antipyretic properties.
