Acetohexamide can inhibit the formation of circular chemorepellent induced defects (CCIDs) in lymphendothelial cell (LEC) monolayers. Acetohexamide inhibits markers of epithelial-to-mesenchymal-transition and migration. Acetohexamide suppresses the synthesis of 12(S)-HETE. Acetohexamide can potentiate hypoglycaemic action.
