Frovatriptan

Overview

Frovatriptan is a potent 5-HT 1B//D receptor agonist and has the highest 5-HT 1B potency in the triptan class. Frovatriptan is apparently cerebroselective. Frovatriptan is efficacious and even superior in some endpoints also when taken during the headache phase in migraine attacks with aura.
