Benzylhydrazine

Overview

Benzylhydrazine is a potent monoamine oxidase ( MAO ) inhibitor. Benzylhydrazine inhibits both brain and liver MAO ( pI 50 = 6.3 and 7.0, respectively) and demonstrates in vivo efficacy in mice ( ED 50 = 6.5 and 6.2 μmol/kg for brain and liver, respectively).
