Overview

Fluorescamine reacts rapidly with primary amine groups in proteins under alkaline conditions to generate products with strong fluorescence (Ex/Em : 390/475 nm). Fluorescamine can be used to detect amine-containing compounds, including amino acids , peptides, and proteins.
