(Rac)-Salvianic acid A sodium is the racemic form of Salvianic acid A ( HY-N1913 ). Salvianic acid A is an orally active phenolic compound that induces Nrf2/HO-1 activation and inhibits the NF-κB pathway, and it also activates the mitochondrial antioxidant defense system ( Mitochondrial Metabolism ).
