Bakuchiol has been proven to be a non-competitive inhibitor of multiple enzymes , including UDP-glucuronosyltransferase 2B7 (UGT2B7) and human carboxylesterase 2 (hCE2) , with IC 50 s values of 40.9 μM and 7.28 μM, respectively.
