Chorismic acid is a critical metabolite for the synthesis of cmo 5 U. Deficiency of Chorismic acid inhibits the formation of cmo 5 U and mcmo 5 U. Chorismic acid can be used in studies of S. typhimurium and E. coli infections.\n
