Kadsurenin C (compound 1) is a neolignan that can be isolated from the aerial part of Piper kadsura with anti-inflammation activity. Kadsurenin C exhibits significant PAF (Platelet Activating Factor) antagonistic activity with IC 50 value of 5.1 μM.
