Artocarpesin

Overview

Artocarpesin is a flavonoid compound. Artocarpesin has inhibitory effects on methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus ( MRSA ). Artocarpesin inhibits the production of NO , PGE 2 and ROS by inhibiting COX-2 and iNOS expression, and plays an anti-inflammatory role. In addition, Artocarpesin inhibits platelet aggregation by inhibiting cyclic nucleotides and MAPKs , which can be used in the study of cardiovascular diseases.
