Overview

Bromoflavone (CJ-19784) is a flavone that can be isolated from Aspergillus candidus . Bromoflavone shows anti- Mtb activity with an MIC90 value of 1.2 μM. Bromoflavone is also an antifungal agent. Bromoflavone inhibits the growth of pathogenic fungi, Candida albicans , Cryptococcus neoformans and Aspergillus fumigatus with IC 50 values of 0.11, 20 and 0.54 μg/mL, respectively..
