Overview

Regiafuran A is a prenylated 2-arylbenzofuran derivative and free radical scavenger (IC 50 =1.9 μg/mL). Regiafuran A is isolated from the stem bark of Chlorophora regia . In a competitive enzyme immunoassay for PGE 2 , Regiafuran A shows no anti-inflammatory potential.
