Overview

Carbiphene hydrochloride is a GABAA receptor allosteric modulator. Carbiphene hydrochloride inhibits [ 35 S] TBPS binding and enhances [ 3 H] muscimol binding on rat forebrain membranes, acting on specific GABAA receptor subsets. Carbiphene hydrochloride can be used in research related to schizophrenia.
