Steviol-15-ene is a Δ 15 -double bond isomer of steviol, a tetracyclic diterpenoid. Steviol-15-ene undergoes 7β-hydroxylation by Gibberella fujikuroi to form methyl ent-7α,13-dihydroxykaur-15-en-19-oate.
