Overview

Ethyl palmitate (Ethyl hexadecanoate) is a CHIKV virus inhibitor with an EC 50 value of 0.0068 μM. Ethyl palmitate can reduce levels of TNF-α , IL-6 , and NF-κB in endotoxemic rats, showing anti-inflammatory activity.
