Overview

Bis-5,5-Nortrachelogenin is isolated from active extract of root of Wikstroemia indica . Bis-5,5-Nortrachelogenin inhibits nitric oxide (NO) production in a lipopolysaccharide (LPS) and recombinant mouse interferon-γ( IFN-γ ) activated murine macrophage-like cell line, RAW 264.7 with an IC 50 value of 48.6 mM.
