Soyasaponin Aa suppresses PPARγ transcriptional activity, reduces PPARγ and C/EBPα expression, inhibits adipocyte differentiation and lipid accumulation, and reduces adipogenic marker gene expression. Soyasaponin Aa reduces hydrogen peroxide-induced reactive oxygen species ( ROS ) production and malondialdehyde levels. Soyasaponin Aa exhibits cellular antioxidant activity.
