Licoricone

Overview

Licoricone is a flavonoid compound. Licoricone also acts as a growth inhibitor against Helicobacter pylori , and exhibits activity against clarithromycin ( HY-17508 )-resistant, amoxicillin ( HY-B0467A )-resistant, as well as susceptible strains. Licoricone can be isolated from the roots of Glycyrrhiza uralensis . Licoricone can be used in the research of peptic ulcers and gastric cancer .
