Overview

3,4,5-Triiodobenzoic acid is an auxin transport inhibitor. 3,4,5-Triiodobenzoic acid stimulates specific [ 3 H]verapamil binding to zucchini microsomes. 3,4,5-Triiodobenzoic acid also increases specific [ 3 H]verapamil binding to rabbit skeletal muscle membranes. 3,4,5-Triiodobenzoic acid can be used in the research of smooth muscle contraction.
