1-(3-Carboxypropyl)-3,7-dimethylxanthine is the major circulating oxidative carboxylation metabolite of Pentoxifylline ( HY-B0715 ). 1-(3-Carboxypropyl)-3,7-dimethylxanthine protects fibrosarcoma cells against the cytotoxic effect of TNF-α.
