Maurotoxin

Overview

Maurotoxin is a 34-residue and four disulde-bridged toxin that can be isolated from the chactoid scorpion ( Scorpio maurus ). Maurotoxin inhibits the Shaker potassium channels (ShB) K + current with an IC 50 of 2 nM.
