Azemiopsin

Overview

Azemiopsin is a potent nicotinic acetylcholine receptor ( nAChR ) inhibitor with IC 50 s of 0.18 μM and 22 μM against T. californica nAChR and human α7 nAChR , respectively. Azemiopsin blocks acetylcholine-induced currents in Xenopus oocytes heterologously expressing human muscle-type nAChR .
