Overview

Imidazoleacetic acid hydrochloride is a γ-aminobutyric acid receptor agonist. Imidazoleacetic acid hydrochloride inhibits GABA-T in a non-competitive manner, with a K i value of 0.34 mM. Imidazoleacetic acid hydrochloride increases total free GABA in brain.
