L-Leucinol

Overview

L-Leucinol ((+)-Leucinol) is a competitive aminopeptidase inhibitor with a K i value of 17 μM. As a dietary intake inhibitor, L-Leucinol reduces the basal dietary leucine intake in rats via microinjection into the rat anterior piriform cortex.
