4-MDM

Overview

4-MDM (4-Methoxydiphenylmethane) is an orally active anti-inflammatory compound that selectively enhances the Leukotriene A 4 Hydrolase ( LTA 4 H ) aminopeptidase enzyme activity. 4-MDM reduces the neutrophil recruitment in the lung by enhancing the degradation of proline-glycine-proline by LTA 4 H , thereby reducing inflammation, and does not affect the epoxy-hydrolase activity of LTA 4 H . 4-MDM can be used for research on lung diseases.
