Idetrexed (ONX 0801) trisodium is a thymidylate synthase (TS) inhibitor with a K i of 1.2 nM. Idetrexed trisodium can be specifically transported into α-folate receptor (α-FR)-overexpressing tumors, such as ovarian cancer .
