BI-3406

Overview

BI-3406 is a potent and selective inhibitor of the interaction between KRAS and Son of Sevenless 1 (SOS1). SOS1 is the guanine nucleotide exchange factor (GEF) and activator of RAS, and mutants of RAS are major oncogenes and occur in many human cancers. Inhibition of SOS1 in a mutant KRAS cell line can suppress tumor growth.
