Purpurogallin

Overview

Purpurogallin is a naturally phenol extracted from the plants of Quercus spp, has potent xanthine oxidase (XO) inhibitory activity with an IC 50 of 0.2 μM. Purpurogallin has antioxidant and anti-inflammatory effects.
