eIF4A3-IN-16 (compound 60) is a Silvestrol ( HY-13251 ) analogue. eIF4A3-IN-16 inhibits MBA-MB-231cell growth with an EC 50 value of 1 nM. eIF4A3-IN-16 interferes the assembling of eIF4F translation complex with a myc-LUC EC 50 value of 1 nM and a tub-LUC EC 50 value of 30 nM. eIF4A3-IN-16 can be used for triple negative breast cancer (TNBC) research.
