S07-2005 racemic is a potent and selective aldo-keto reductase 1C3 (AKR1C3) inhibitor with an IC 50 value of 0.13 μM and 0.75 μM for AKR1C3 and AKR1C4, respectively. S07-2005 racemic has potential as a chemotherapeutic potentiator for cancer agent resistance.
