6-Iodoamiloride is a potent acid-sensing ion channel 1 (ASIC1) inhibitor with an IC 50 of 88 nM. 6-Iodoamiloride inhibits ASIC3-mediated currents from rat dorsal root ganglion neurons with an IC 50 of 230 nM.
