Overview

Chromium(III) acetate (Chromic acetate) is an AMPK inhibitor that promotes lipogenesis by inhibiting AMPK phosphorylation. Chromium(III) acetate has low toxicity in mammals, with an LD 50 of 2365 mg/kg in rats.
