Overview

Sorbifolin, a flavone glucoside, can be isolated from the Pterogyne nitens . Sorbifolin has myeloperoxidase inhibitory and radical scavenging activities. Sorbifolin is also a MPO inhibitor with an IC 50 value of 19.2 nM.
