Changnanic acid (schisandrin) is a triterpene compound with potential anti-tumor effects. Changnanic acid exhibits moderate cytotoxic activity against human tumor cell lines Bel-7402, MCF-7 and HL-60, with IC 50 s of 100 μM, 100 μM and 50.51 μM respectively.
