Overview

Melanocin A is a Melanin biosynthesis inhibitor. Melanocin A inhibits the biosynthesis of melanin and tyrosinase ( IC 50 is 9.0 nM, MIC is 0.9 μM). Melanocin A also has antioxidant effect.
