13b,14-Dihydrorutaecarpine is a cytotoxin derived from dihydrorutaecarpine. 13b,14-Dihydrorutaecarpine exerts selective cytotoxicity against central nervous system (CNS) and prostate cancer cell lines ( GI 50 =0.02 μM and 0.2 μM). 13b,14-Dihydrorutaecarpine can be used in the research of central nervous system (CNS) cancer , ovarian cancer , prostate cancer and renal cancer .
