Overview

Ophiopogonin C, isolated from the tubers of Ophiopogon japonicus , is a rare naturally occurring C 29 steroidal glycoside. Ophiopogonin C shows cytotoxic activity against two human tumor cell lines MG-63 and SNU387 with IC 50 s of 19.76 μM and 15.51 μM, respectively.
