Baicalein 7-O-β-D-ethylglucuronide

Overview

Baicalein 7-O-β-D-ethylglucuronide is a natural flavone glycoside that can be extracted from Scutellaria baicalensis Georgi . Baicalein 7-O-β-D-ethylglucuronide has antioxidant activity. Baicalein 7-O-β-D-ethylglucuronide inhibits FeSO 4 -Cys-induced lipid peroxidation of liver homogenate. Baicalein 7-O-β-D-ethylglucuronide also shows strong cytoprotective effect on H 2 O 2 -induced oxidative damage of human umbilical vein endothelial cells.
