Overview

2-Methoxyhydroquinone is a phenolic compound that reduces TNF-α-induced production of chemokine (C-C motif) ligand 2 ( CCL2 ) with an IC 50 value of 64.3 µM. 2-Methoxyhydroquinone is also a precursor in the synthesis of the Hsp90 inhibitor Geldanamycin ( HY-15230 ).
